9 drug suspects nabbed in alleged drug den in Camarines Sur
LEGAZPI CITY — Nine suspected drug personalities were arrested Monday in an alleged drug den in Ocampo town in Camarines Sur.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, said in a report Tuesday, May 16, that they arrested Jay Odiame, 44; Zaldy Mangubat, 50; Edmer Ayao, 36; Justin Albert Amaro, 30; Albino Codillo, 50; Aina Barranda, 36; Ma. Anjanette Bobis, 28; Renalyn Brusalo, 30; and Angie Niebres, 38, in a buy-bust operation at 9:58 p.m. in Barangay Hibago.
Calubaquib said 10 grams of shabu (crystal meth) worth P68,000 was recovered from the alleged drug den maintained by Odiame.
Authorities also recovered improvised tooter, aluminum foil strips, and plastic sachets containing traces of shabu and other drug tools.
The suspects were placed in the custody of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency of the Camarines Sur and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
