LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives arrested two alleged drug pushers and seized P68,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in Antipolo City, Rizal province on Saturday, May 13.

In a report Sunday, the Police Region 4A said Geremy Peñaflor and Roel Duque were collared at around 9:40 p.m. after they reportedly sold P500 worth of shabu to a poseur-buyer in Barangay (village) Mambugan.

The suspects, according to police, were caught in possession of 12 plastic sachets of shabu supposedly ready for distribution to their drug-user clients in the city.

The confiscated shabu, weighing 10 grams, has an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P68,000.

Authorities also seized a motorcycle from the suspects believed to have been used in their illegal drug distributions.

The police are tracking the source of the illegal drugs.

The suspects were detained and are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
