LEGAZPI CITY — Two suspected drug traders were arrested in separate buy-bust operations on Sunday, May 7, in Albay and Camarines Sur.
Senior Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Edna Austria, 53, was arrested around 10 p.m. after selling a sachet of “shabu” (crystal meth) in Barangay Peñafrancia in Naga City in Camarines Sur.
Police recovered three sachets of shabu worth P10,880.
In Tiwi town in Albay, Arvin Clavecillas, 42, was arrestedat at 2:20 p.m. in Barangay Gajo.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, spokesperson of Bicol police, said in a report that the lawmen confiscated a sachet of shabu worth P6,120 from the Clavecillas.
The suspects were facing charges of violations of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. INQ
