Shabu, gun seized from 2 drug suspects in Cabuyao City
LUCENA CITY – Police anti-narcotic operatives arrested two alleged drug pushers early Saturday, May 6, and seized P100,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) and an illegal firearm in Cabuyao City, Laguna.
In a report, the Region 4A police said Rodelo dela Cerna Jr. and Henry Javier were collared around 3:53 a.m. during a buy-bust operation in Barangay (village) Banlic.
The suspects yielded three sachets of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P100,000.
The police also found Dela Cerna carrying an undocumented caliber .38 revolver loaded with three bullets.
The suspects were detained and charged with violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 for possessing and selling dangerous drugs.
Dela Cerna will face another case for illegal possession of a firearm.
