PDEA men confiscate over P1-M worth of ‘shabu’ in QC drug sting

A buy-bust operation in Quezon City led to the arrest of three men who yielded over P1-million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Thursday. 

MANILA, Philippines — A buy-bust operation in Quezon City led to the arrest of three men who yielded over P1-million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) said on Thursday.

The agency said that its Central Luzon agents collared suspects Mark Ryan Raymundo, 39; Nestor Ogizo, 40; and Heron Bigalan, 30, along a gasoline station at Barangay Pag Ibig sa Nayon.

Based on the report, the operation was conducted by the agency’s Central Luzon and National Capital Region agents along with the police force.

Seized from the arrested individuals are five plastic sachets or 200 grams of shabu amounting to P1,380,000 and money used by an undercover agent.

The suspects are currently under police custody and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
