Cops seize P1.1M shabu from 4 drug suspects in Laguna 

Police authorities have arrested one of Laguna's most wanted persons in the province following a manhunt operation over the weekend

LUCENA CITY – Police arrested four “high-value” targets in the government’s anti-illegal drugs campaign on Wednesday, and seized more than P1.1 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) in Laguna province.

In a report on Thursday, May 4, the Region 4A police said anti-illegal drugs operatives in Calamba City arrested at 7:40 p.m. Abdul Jalil Darang and Omelya Baute after they sold shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Halang.

Seized from the suspects were four sachets of shabu worth P765,000.

In Siniloan town, local drug enforcers busted Apollo Agpangan and Reymon Catalan in a buy-bust operation at 9:03 p.m. inside a public cemetery in Barangay Kapatalan.

The duo was caught in possession of P342,000 worth of shabu.

Calamba and Siniloan authorities were tracking the source of the illegal drugs.

The four suspects are under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
