P245,000 shabu seized from 3 suspects in Cabuyao City

LUCENA CITY — Police arrested three drug suspects on Monday and Tuesday (May 1 and 2) and seized P245,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in separate buy-bust operations in Cabuyao City, Laguna.
Laguna police said in a report that members of the Cabuyao City drug enforcement unit nabbed at 12:16 a.m. on Tuesday an alleged drug trader identified as “Shiela” after she sold shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Bigaa.
The operatives seized from the suspect, who is a resident of neighboring Santa Rosa City, six sachets of meth with a Dangerous Drugs Board value of P200,000.
Earlier, the same police team also busted Maximo Lumban and Honey Day Lante in a drug sting at 8:56 p.m. on Monday in Barangay Marinig.
The duo yielded four sachets of shabu worth P45,000.
All suspects were detained and are facing charges of violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
