MANILA, Philippines—Former newsman Marius N. Panuncialman died Thursday, April 12, his 68th birthday, after a lingering illness.

He is survived by his wife, the former Belinda Sioco; children Alvin and Ingrid, Dr. Alejandro, Elisa Jovita and Belinda Lee; grandchild—Amanda Ira; and siblings, Yvonne, Anne, Marian Alexis Peter and Dr. Gregorio.

Panuncialman worked in various newspapers, including the Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard, Malaya, and Tempo during his more than 30 years as a media man.

His remains lie at The Shrine of St. Therese—Blessed Zelie Guerin Chapel (basement) on Newport Boulevard, Resorts World, Pasay City. Viewing starts Saturday at 3 p.m. Interment will be on the afternoon of April 17, Tuesday, at the Centennial Garden II, National Road, Barangay Macabiling, Sta. Rosa, Laguna.
