Oil companies roll back prices of fuel

MANILA, Philippines — Local oil companies announced a reduction in the pump prices of gasoline, kerosene, and diesel effective on Tuesday.

The price of cooking gas, however, went up by 85 centavos per kilogram or by P9.3 per 11-kg cylinder.

In separate advisories, oil companies said the prices of gasoline declined by P1.50 per liter, diesel by P1.30 per liter, and kerosene by P1.40 per liter.

Cleanfuel and Caltex implemented the price adjustments at 12:01 a.m., followed by Seaoil, Petro Gazz, Jetti Petroleum, and Phoenix Petroleum at 6 a.m. This marks the second week of price rollbacks.
