Roxas Blvd. areas closed for LRT-1 Cavite Extension footbridge work

The construction of the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project is already at 82.7 percent and is on track to completing its first phase.

MANILA, Philippines — Several areas in Roxas Boulevard will be closed to give way for a footbridge construction for the Light Rail Transit 1 (LRT-1) Cavite extension project, said the railway management on Friday.

According to the Light Rail Manila Corporation’s (LRMC) advisory, the following portions of Roxas Boulevard will be temporarily closed are as follows:

LMRC advised the motorists to take alternate routes and wait for further announcements.

The management said the footbridge is for the LRT-1 Cavite Extension Project in Redemptorist Station.

It also reported that as of March 2023, the construction of the train extension project is already at 82.7 percent and is on track to completing its first phase.
