MANILA, Philippines — Motorists should brace for traffic jams in Quezon City as six roads will undergo repairs starting Thursday, April 27.
The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said it had cleared the Department of Public Works and Highways to begin rotomilling and asphalt overlaying activities on the following roads at 10 p.m.
- Balete Drive from Mabolo Street to Bougainvilla Street – Repairs will be done until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2.
- C-5 E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue southbound from the Unioil gasoline station to the Be Safe MD Inc. – Repairs will be done until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2.
- Arayat Street from Cristobal Street to Malabito Street – Repairs will be done until 5 a.m. on Tuesday, May 2.
BIR Road southbound from Quezon Avenue to East Avenue (First and second lane) – Repairs will be done until 5 a.m. on Friday, May 5. - Boni Serrano Flyover northbound and southbound – Repairs will be done until 5 a.m. on Friday, May 5.
“Motorists are advised to take alternate routes,” MMDA said in an advisory.
