VIRAC, Catanduanes — Due to the extremely hot weather prevailing in this province, the Catanduanes State University (CatSU) adapted the hybrid learning setup starting Wednesday, April 26.
The blended learning modality would be implemented until the end of the semester this May, CatSU President Patrick Alain Azanza said in memorandum issued on Wednesday.
Classes would be held online, including the uploading and submission of school activities such as quizzes and assignments, the hybrid learning guidelines say.
For the final examinations, “flexibility may be allowed on a case-to-case basis,” the administration clarified.
Over the past few days, Catanduanes experienced intense heat ranging from 42 to 44 degrees Celcius.
