LEGAZPI CITY — Police on Wednesday arrested four suspected drug personalities and recovered P81,600 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Masbate City in Masbate province.
Lieutenant Colonel Maria Luisa Calubaquib, Bicol police spokesperson, reported that Rodelio Mesa, 43; Eliseo Cabug, 39; Edwin Dela Cruz, 43; and Ernando Rodriguez, 31, were arrested around 10 p.m. in Barangay Nursery.
Calubaquib said police recovered 14 sachets or 12 grams of shabu and other non-drug items from the place owned by Mesa.
They were in police custody and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
