Highest heat index of 46°C in Nueva Ecija town on April 26 – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Temperature will be hottest in Muñoz, Nueva Ecija province on Wednesday, April 26, as the state weather bureau predicted that the heat index at the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) weather station will hit 46°C.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) added that Butuan, Agusan del Norte will also experience a heat index of 44°C on Wednesday.
In its Tuesday afternoon bulletin, Pagasa noted that April 23’s highest heat index was recorded in Dagupan City, Pangasinan at 44°C.
So far, the hottest temperature recorded since March 1 was the 48°C heat index in Butuan, Agusan del Norte, on April 21.

(The effect of the easterlies will persist in the country. Expect that the entire country will have, other than hot and humid weather, sudden downpours brought by thunderstorms.)
