San Pablo RTC to start hearing case of missing e-sabong agent

The San Pablo City Regional Trial Court will begin the proceedings on the case of an e-sabong agent who went missing in 2021.

MANILA, Philippines — The San Pablo City Regional Trial Court will begin the proceedings on the case of an e-sabong agent who went missing in 2021.

Ricardo “Jonjon” Lasco was abducted from his home in August 2021.

Expected to be the first to take the witness stand is Lasco’s wife, Princess, who witnessed the abduction of her husband inside their house on August 30, 2021.

To undergo trial for the robbery and kidnapping of Lasco are three Laguna-based policemen, Ssgt. Daryl Paghangaan and Patrolmen Roy Navarete and Rigel Brosas.

The three policemen allegedly introduced themselves as agents of the National Bureau of Investigation when they went to Lasco’s house.

The three were also accused of taking luxury watches, jewelry, and case from Lasco’s vault worth P10 million.
