Active COVID-19 cases in Zambales rise to 7

Active COVID-19 cases in Zambales rise to 8

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — The number of active COVID-19 cases in this province increased to seven after registering three new infections on Tuesday, April 25.

Data from the provincial health office showed that the capital town of Iba and the towns of Botolan, Castillejos, Masinloc, and San Antonio have one case each, while the town of Cabangan has two cases.

The province has had zero active cases since April 14.

Data also showed that the number of deaths related to the disease stood at 741 since no new fatalities were recorded since April 8.

The province has logged 12,702 COVID-19 cases since 2020. At least 11,955 people, or 94.15 percent, recovered from the disease. INQ
