Man charged with murder shot dead in Quezon province

LUCENA CITY — A 23-year-old man, who was previously charged with murder, was shot and killed on Wednesday in Candelaria town in Quezon province.

The Candelaria police reported on Thursday, April 20, that the body of John Peter de Villa was found on Wednesday morning lying on the roadside beside his motorcycle in Barangay Malabanban Norte.

Investigators said the victim suffered multiple bullet wounds on the head and body.
