PNR train derails between Pasay Road and Edsa stations

MANILA, Philippines — A train of the Philippine National Railways (PNR) went off track on Tuesday, forcing the company to limit its operations.
The PNR said in a statement that the train was carrying 400 passengers when it derailed between Pasay Road and Edsa stations while crossing the line past Don Bosco Crossing to Alabang at 11:20 a.m.
“Ang 400 na pasahero ay ligtas na nakababa sa apektadong tren. Walang nasaktan sa kanila,” the PNR said.
(The 400 passengers got off the affected train safely. None of them were hurt.)
Due to the incident, PNR operations were limited to Gov. Pascual to Malabon stations up to Vito Cruz station and vice versa, and Tutuban to Vito Cruz stations and vice versa.

(The cause of the incident is now being investigated by the PNR administration.)
