Bacolod City mayor to DPWH: Why repair roads not in bad condition?

Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez is asking the DPWH to explain why they are repairing roads that are not really damaged

BACOLOD CITY — Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez of this city is asking the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) to explain why they are repairing roads that are not really damaged when there are others that are in need of repair.

“They are drilling holes in roads that are not in bad condition,” Benitez said Monday, April 17.

There are currently 10 identified areas with major road works in Bacolod City, the majority of which are being undertaken by the DPWH.
