LUCENA CITY – Police arrested three drug suspects and seized over P1 million worth of shabu in Batangas and Laguna on Friday and Saturday, according to the Region 4A police.
Batangas City anti-illegal drugs operatives collared Jerico Magbatoc at around 4:15 a.m. Saturday after he allegedly sold P200,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer in Barangay (village) San Isidro.
The operatives confiscated from the suspect a knot-tied plastic containing shabu weighing 100 grams worth an estimated P680,000.
In Calamba City, Laguna anti-narcotics operatives nabbed Dominique Manalo and Raquel Marcelino in a drug sting at 1:36 p.m. on Friday in Barangay Real.
The two were reportedly found in possession of three sachets of shabu weighing 51.5 grams with an estimated value of P350,200
The report classified the three arrested suspects as high-value targets in the government’s anti-illegal drug campaign.
They were detained and will face a formal complaint for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
