MANILA, Philippines — Warm weather due to the easterlies will prevail in many parts of the country on Saturday, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The low pressure that was once Tropical Depression Amang has dissipated on Friday night, the state weather bureau added.
(Currently, the easterlies, or the hot and dry wind from the Pacific Ocean, is prevailing over the country and will affect the eastern parts of Visayas and Mindanao.)
Rain showers are also possible, however, due to localized thunderstorms.
No gale warning was raised over any of the country’s seaboards.
