2 suspected shabu traffickers busted in Antipolo City

LUCENA CITY — Anti-illegal drugs operatives collared two alleged shabu (crystal meth) traffickers in buy-bust operations early Tuesday, April 11,  in Antipolo City, Rizal.

Members of the city drug enforcement unit arrested at 12:55 a.m. Roel Gadiano after he allegedly sold P500 worth of shabu to a police agent in Barangay Sta. Cruz.

Authorities seized from the suspect, an identified drug pusher on the police watchlist, four plastic sachets of meth with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P34,000.

The same police team also busted Richard Gonzales in a drug sting at 4:35 a.m. in another part of the village.

Gonzalez yielded four sachets of shabu worth P34,000 as per DDB valuation.

Both shabu peddlers were detained and will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
