Masbate’s 2023 Rodeo Festival gets P2 million from provincial government

Masbate provincial government gives P2-M to organizers as fund for Rodeo Fest

MASBATE CITY — The Rodeo Masbateño Inc. (RMI) was granted P2 million in financial assistance by the provincial government of Masbate for the upcoming 27th anniversary of the Rodeo Festival.

In a ceremony at Balay Kho in this city on Wednesday, Gov. Antonio Kho led the presentation of the P2 million-check to Ruby Morano, president of RMI.

Provincial Treasurer Eduardo Arcena Jr. andMasbate provincial tourism culture and arts office OIC Gerardo Presado were also present during the ceremony.

The highly anticipated festival will begin on April 9 and will last until April 16.

Rodeo Masbateño Festival 2023 features bull riding, carambola, street barn dances, a culinary showdown, and night-long parties.
