Big-time marijuana trader busted in Antipolo City

LUCENA CITY – Combined personnel from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and police arrested an alleged big-time marijuana trafficker in a buy-bust operation in Antipolo City, Rizal early Wednesday, April 5.

The PDEA-Calabarzon, which covers Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon, reported that the joint operation resulted in the arrest around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday of Jay-ar Ogdog, 28, in a sting operation in Barangay Inarawan.

Ogdog yielded five kilos of dried marijuana leaves with a street value of P600,000 and 800 ml of suspected marijuana oil worth P20,000.

Authorities were conducting further investigation to determine Ogdog’s source of his marijuana.

The suspect was detained and is facing charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
