MANILA, Philippines — In anticipation of the Holy Week travel rush, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Friday that provincial buses will be allowed to traverse through Edsa.
There will be a five-day work break as the Holy Week commemoration falls next to another holiday, the Day of Valor.

“From April 3 to 5, provincial buses will be allowed on Edsa from 10:00 pm to 5:00 am; and from April 6 to 10, 2023 round-a-clock to accommodate the expected influx of passengers going to the provinces for the observance of the Holy Week,” said the MMDA in a statement.
According to the MMDA, provincial buses from Northern Luzon will end their trips at Cubao, Quezon City bus terminals.
“Meanwhile, provincial buses coming from South Luzon shall terminate their trips at the bus terminals in Pasay City,” it said.
