Notorious drug pusher nabbed in Laguna town

Police authorities have arrested one of Laguna's most wanted persons in the province following a manhunt operation over the weekend

LUCENA CITY — A notorious drug pusher was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Santa Cruz town in Laguna province early Tuesday, March 28, police said in a report.

Darren Pancho was collared around 4:45 p.m. after he sold P2,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) to undercover police in Barangay Gatid, the Police Region 4A said.

Seized from him were five plastic sachets of shabu weighing 29 grams and had an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P200,000. The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in drug trading.

Police tagged Pancho as among the street-level drug pushers in the locality.

The suspect was detained at the city jail and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
