Elderly man dies in Camarines Sur road mishap
LEGAZPI CITY — A 76-year-old man died after a tricycle hit him on Wednesday night, March 15, in Bula town in Camarines Sur province.
Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, Camarines Sur police chief, said Francisco Amparado, a farmer, was crossing the street around 9:30 p.m. when bumped by a tricycle driven by Mario Lomeda Jr., 40, in Barangay San Roque Poblacion.
The victim suffered injuries and died while being taken to a hospital.
The Lomeda was brought to the police station for proper disposition.
