56 Catanduanes fire officers get free review classes for qualifying exam

VIRAC, Catanduanes — Some fifty-six aspiring Fire Officer 1 in this province attended a 2-day free fire officer 1 qualifying examination review on Tuesday and Wednesday (March 14 to 15), in Virac town in Catanduanes province.

The free review classes was a program of the provincial local government here, in partnership with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Catanduanes, as part of the celebration of the National Fire Prevention Month.

The review classes was conducted in Virac Convention Center.

Participants took refresher courses for the exam on the first day of the review, and will also undergo physical agility activities on the second day for their strength and fitness examination.

As of Wednesday, the BFP Catanduanes said there is no date yet for the qualifying exam which will be determined by the national government. — Jona Mae Camacho, contributor
