NLEX shoot for fourth straight win

THE REIGNING back-to-back champions NLEX Road Warriors aim for their fourth straight win when they test the mettle of Café France today in the PBA D-League Foundation Cup at the Ynares Sports Center in Antipolo.

The Road Warriors have swept their first three games and are intending to continue that today, especially with their defense, which has remained stingy as ever.

The Bakers come into this game looking to get back on the winning track after back-to-back losses to Big Chill and Cebuana Lhuillier.

The Road Warriors’ best weapon in this conference has been their defense, which has been splendid during their three-game winning streak in which they limited their opponents to 62 points.

In the other game, Junior Powerade attempts to take another step up the standings when it battles winless Boracay Rum at 2 p.m.

The Jr. Tigers currently share third spot with idle Cebuana Lhuillier with 2-1 (win-loss) records.

Boracay Rum, on the other hand, lost its first three games, its worst start in three conferences. /Correspondent Jonas Panerio
