The police also found the suspect, identified in the report as alias “Felimon,” dying on the floor with a kitchen knife stuck to his chest. He died while undergoing treatment at a hospital.

The police claimed that the suspect committed suicide after he killed the four young victims.

The investigators found the suspect’s message written in blood and addressed to the mother of the victims asking for forgiveness, the report said.

The police will subject the body of the suspect to an autopsy to determine if he was under the influence of liquor or illegal drugs during the commission of the crime.

Investigators eyed “jealousy” as the possible motive behind the shooting but did not provide further information.

According to the police, the suspect was the one taking care of the children while their mother worked abroad. The report did not specify the country where she is and the nature of her work.
