LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics operatives seized more than P225,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from seven drug suspects in separate buy-bust operations early Thursday, March 9, in Rizal, Cavite, and Batangas provinces.
Drug enforcers nabbed Danilo Celones in Binangonan, Rizal at 2:50 a.m. after he allegedly sold P1,000 worth of meth to a poseur buyer in Barangay Darangan.
Celones yielded three sachets of shabu weighing 20.3 grams with a Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P136,000.
In Dasmariñas City, Cavite, police officers busted at 12:30 a.m. alleged meth peddlers Jake Buban, Rhea Briones, Eduardo Suarez, and Serapin Mendoza in Barangay Datu Esmael.
The suspects were found with five sachets of shabu worth P69,000.
In Batangas province, anti-illegal drug operatives in Sto. Tomas City collared around 4 a.m. Rommel Camasin and Anabella Baylon in Barangay San Miguel.
Police seized P20,400 worth of shabu from the two.
All arrested suspects were tagged as street-level individuals on the drug watch list in their respective localities.
They were detained and are facing complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
