MANILA, Philippines —  The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) on Tuesday received nine additional rigid hull inflatable boats worth P44 million.

The donation, from PCG Auxiliary member and Standard Insurance chairman Rear Admiral Ernesto Echauz, includes five units of single-engine assets that cost P4 million each and the four units of single-engine assets priced at P6 million each.

According to PCG, the assets will be delivered to Coast Guard Sub-Stations located in Manila and Olongapo and to Coast Guard Districts in Southeastern Mindanao, Western Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Southern Tagalog.
