MMDA to deploy 14 buses to aid Metro Manila commuters during the transport strike

MANILA, Philippines — The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on Tuesday said 14 buses would be dispatched to some parts of Metro Manila to provide free transportation to commuters amid the ongoing weeklong transport strike.

The buses will be deployed during rush hour from 4:30 p.m.-6:00 p.m. at the following routes:

  • EDSA Roxas Boulevard southbound (in front of Heritage) going to Sucat
  • EDSA Roxas Boulevard southbound (in front of Heritage) going to FTI
  • EDSA Timog going to Monumento
  • Philcoa going to San Mateo
  • Monumento going to Polo Valenzuela
