The two riders suffered injuries and rushed to the nearest hospital, but Lucero was declared dead on arrival.

In neighboring Tanauan City, the police reported that a still-unidentified male beggar died Sunday morning after being hit by a passing vehicle driven by Jay-Ar Agojo, 25, in Barangay Ambulong.

Investigators said the victim suddenly crossed the vehicle’s path, which led to the accident. INQ
