Tricycle driver shot dead in Camarines Sur

Farmer shot dead in Camarines Sur, suspect nabbed

LEGAZPI CiTY — A tricycle driver was shot and killed on Wednesday night (March 1), by unidentified assailants in Nabua town in Camarines Sur province.

Colonel Julius Caesar Domingo, chief of Camarines Sur police, said in a report Thursday that while Ronnie Ibo, 47, was standing beside the road, the two unidentified men suddenly appeared and shot him several times in Barangay La Opinion at 7:20 p.m.

He died while being taken to a hospital from gunshot wounds in different parts of his body.

The police conducted a dragnet operation for possible aprehension and identification of the suspects, who immediately escaped after the incident.
