QC buy-bust nets over P1-M shabu, 2 suspects
MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Police seized more than P1 million worth of suspected crystal meth or shabu and arrested two suspects following a buy-bust operation Monday night.
Dean Dexter Bohol Bato, 26; and Dexter Gelera Bato, 46, were arrested in a buy-bust operation along Monte Piedad Street near corner Edsa, Barangay Immaculate Concepcion on Monday evening, the National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) said in a statement on Tuesday.
The NCRPO did not say if the two suspects are related.
Seized from the suspects were 150 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P1,020,000.
The arrested suspects and recovered pieces of evidence were brought to Kamuning Police Station for proper documentation and disposition and pending filing of a formal complaint for violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
