LUCENA CITY — Sea travel for all small vessels in Batangas province remained suspended on Monday due to rough sea conditions, the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) said.
The PCG-Batangas advisory cited a 5 a.m. forecast by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) of a strong gale.
“All voyages of small crafts with 250 GT (gross tonnages) or less in the western coast of the Province of Batangas are still suspended,” the PCG-Batangas said.

The suspension order will be lifted once the weather and sea conditions improve, the PCG said. INQ
