MANILA, Philippines — The eastern section of Luzon may expect cloudy skies with rain due to the northeast monsoon, or locally “amihan”, on Monday while the rest of the country may see fair weather conditions, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

Specifically, weather specialist Obet Badrina said in a public forecast that Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with rain due to the northeast monsoon.

Similarly, Metro Manila and the rest of the country may anticipate a generally fair weather condition despite the probability of partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rain likewise due to the northeast monsoon, according to Badrina.
