Palace promotes 10 officials in PCG

The Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) NCR-Central Luzon and the Bataan General Hospital and Medical Center (BGHMC) have signed an agreement providing PCG personnel accessible medical assistance and treatment.

MANILA, Philippines — Malacañang on Wednesday disclosed the latest promotions of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG).

In a statement, the Presidential Communications Office (PCO) said the following are promoted in the PCG under the Marcos administration, including the promotion of PCG spokesman Armand Balilo to Rear Admiral:

The PCG is recently in news headlines after a Chinese coast guard ship directed a military-grade laser at one of the country’s vessels, causing temporary blindness to the crew.
