MANILA, Philippines — The Supreme Court will determine whether the 2012 Bar examination will be held in either October or November.
It will be one of the issues to be discussed by the high court in its summer session in Baguio.
The Philippine Association of Law Schools (PALS) opposed the high court’s decision to move the examination a month early from November to October.
During a general membership meeting, law school deans said they preferred either September or November because October was the final examinations of law undergraduates who would want to help the Bar examinees.
Associate Justice and 2012 Bar Exam committee chairman Martin Villarama said he would raise the issue to the Supreme Court en banc.
The Supreme Court summer session will begin April 9.
