MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City policemen have arrested a man considered the No. 2 district drug priority target following a buy-bust operation that yielded about P7-million worth of suspected crystal meth or “shabu.”
In a report on Tuesday, the QC Police District (QCPD) identified the suspect as Ian Torres delos Reyes, 37, who was arrested in Brgy. Katipunan at 8:50 p.m. on Monday.
The QCPD seized 1.5 kilograms of suspected shabu with an estimated value of P7.14 million from a suspect. These will be brought to the Quezon City Police District’s District Forensic Unit for a chemical examination. The suspect is in custody at the District Drug Enforcement Unit while legal proceedings are being prepared to be presented in court.
