90 gov’t vehicles missing in Bacolod

At least 45 more modernized jeepneys start serving Bacolod City

BACOLOD CITY — At least 90 city government vehicles remained missing, according to General Services Officer Gilda Lluisma on Monday, Feb. 6.

City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez said show-cause orders would be issued against those who fail to account for the vehicles assigned to them.

Most of the vehicles that have not been found, including motorcycles, were assigned to the police and persons who have retired or are absent without leave.

The missing vehicles, however, would not affect the city government’s MABB (Mayor Albee Bantug Benitez) cab system, City Administrator Pacifico Maghari said.
