Nearly P500,000 worth of ‘shabu,’ marijuana seized in Bulacan
CAMP GEN. ALEJO, SANTOS, Bulacan — About P500,000 worth of illegal drugs were seized from four alleged drug dealers who were arrested during separate buy-bust operations in this province on Sunday (February 5), police said.
Col. Relly Arnedo, Bulacan police provincial director, said 51.6 grams of “shabu” (crystal meth) worth P345,800 were recovered from two of the suspects, who were identified as Marohom Macabantog alias Ama, 47, a native of Marawi City and a resident of Guiguinto town, and Cesar Payao, 58, from Balagtas town, at about 4 p.m. in Guiguinto.
The two other suspects were identified as Yoej Vincent Munsayac, 23, and Lian Reyes, 24, who were arrested in Barangay Abangan Norte, Marilao town, at about 3 p.m. Seized from them were P152,100 worth of shabu and marijuana.
Arnedo said the confiscated illegal drugs were taken to the Bulacan Provincial Forensic Unit for appropriate laboratory examinations, while criminal complaints would be filed against the suspects. INQ
