Drug suspect yields P170,000 ‘shabu’ meth in Bulacan; 14 others nabbed

CAMP GEN ALEJO S SANTOS, Bulacan — Police seized P170,000 worth of alleged “shabu” (crystal meth) from a suspect in Baliwag town in this province on Wednesday, November 9.

Col. Relly Arnedo said anti-narcotics operatives of Baliwag town arrested Junior Lugtu during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Sto. Cristo at around 2 a.m. and recovered 25 grams of shabu.

Arnedo said a team from the Drug Enforcement Unit of City of Malolos police station also seized 43 sachets of alleged shabu with the still undetermined value from six other suspects on the same day.

Police also collared eight more drug suspects in different anti-illegal drug operations in Calumpit, Obando, and Sta towns. Maria as well as in the city of San Jose Del Monte.

They also yielded an undetermined value of shabu. INQ
