LUCENA CITY — Police anti-narcotics agents arrested four drug suspects and confiscated more than P131,000 worth 0f shabu (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations Tuesday, Jan. 31, and Wednesday, Feb. 1, in Quezon province.

Colonel Ledon Monte, Quezon police chief, said Romnick Pasahol and Joseph Montenegro were arrested at 1:05 a.m. Wednesday after they sold a pack of shabu to a poseur buyer in Barangay Malabanban Norte in Candelaria town.

Authorities confiscated from the suspects four sachets of meth weighing 15.3 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P104,040.

In Lucena City, police nabbed at 10:20 p.m. on Tuesday Warren Paderon and Allan Peralta in Barangay Ilayang Iyam.

The duo yielded seven sachets of meth with a DDB value of P27,880.

The drug haul from two operations is worth P395,760 in the street market at P20,400 per gram, the report said.

All suspects were detained and face complaints of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
