LINGAYEN, Pangasinan — The provincial police have filed a murder complaint against the suspect in the killing of a faculty member of Pangasinan State University (PSU) whose body was found floating on Jan. 26 in a river in Binmaley town.
In an interview on Monday, Jan. 30, Colonel Jeff Fanged, Pangasinan police provincial director, said suspect Jericho Tirao, 22, a college student at PSU, had been subjected to inquest proceedings at the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office in Pangasinan’s capital town of Lingayen on Jan. 28.
Tirao had been tagged as the suspect in the killing of Mark Lagleva, an assistant professor, based on witnesses accounts.

Three students discovered Lagleva’s body in Barangay Linoc.
