Grass fire razes power lines in Zambales town

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — A grass fire damaged some electric lines in some parts of Castillejos town in this province on Monday (Jan. 30), authorities said.

In an advisory, the Zambales II Electric Cooperative Inc. said the supply of the electricity was cut off at about 11:30 a.m. due to the blaze.

The outage affected parts of the villages of Magsaysay, San Jose, Sta. Maria, San Agustin, San Pablo, De Pilar, San Roque, San Juan, San Nicolas and Balaybay.

Other affected areas were the villages of Magsaysay (Govic), San Pablo (Govic to Jesmag), Nagbayan and Looc of Castillejos. INQ
