MANILA, Philippines — Many parts of the country will have overcast skies and possible rain showers on Sunday as a result of various weather systems, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

(Cloudy skies and rain will be experienced due to the northeastern monsoon in the Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Bicol Region and the provinces of Aurora, Quezon, Marinduque and Oriental Mindoro.)

(Meanwhile in Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon, it will be partly cloudy to cloudy with light rains due to the amihan.)

No low pressure area is currently being monitored in and around the Philippine area of responsibility.

A cloud cluster east of Mindanao, however, is being monitored due to its chance to develop into an LPA.

The shear line is also expected to bring scattered rains toEastern Visayas, the Caraga region and Davao Oriental.

The rest of Visayas and Mindanao, on the other hand, have relatively fairer weather with chances of rain due to localized thunderstorms.
