Cops nab 'big-time' drug personality, yields P13.6-M crystal meth in Cebu

MANILA, Philippines — Some P13.6-million worth of crystal meth or “shabu” was seized from a “big-time” drug suspect in Cebu on Friday, said the Philippine National Police (PNP).

The PNP in a report said suspect Lunicito Juario Labitad, who was referred to as among the big-time drug personalities in Central Visayas, was arrested by the police and members of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency during a buy-bust operation in Sitio Upper Bagacay, Barangay Tayud Consolacion at around 12:15 a.m.

Seized from the suspect were around two kilograms of suspected shabu valued at P13.6 million.
