TAGBILARAN CITY — A 26-year-old man was arrested by policemen for alleged possession of shabu (methamphetamine) worth P1.7 million in a buy-bust operation in Dauis town, Bohol at past 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Filcris Ocno Vaño, 26, a resident of Barangay Totolan, Dauis town, was a top target of the local police, according to the police.

Confiscated from the suspect were some 260 kilograms of shabu, with an estimated street value of P1,768,000.

Police said the suspect will face charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
